Explore Galilea
Galilea was abandoned after a seeping corruption rendered the continent uninhabitable. It is up to you to restore it.
Galilea is a mysterious land marred by a purple seeping corruption that twists it into a hostile and remote place. Students are placed in this world amongst a band of hopeful adventurers reshaping and restoring it to its former glory. Students begin with scarce resources, but as schoolwork progresses, their strength grows as they explore the world around them, build out their community, and attempt to find a cure to the blight threatening them.
In addition to the role-playing game, Echoes believes that allowing students opportunities to play together provides some of the largest incentives available to educators. Echoes seeks to utilize this incentive by integrating it’s gem and games system. Echoes has developed classic turn based games (such as tic-tac-toe) and rewards students with a move each time they complete a lesson. These turns provide quick ways for students to challenge friends and play a game over the course of their day without providing a major distraction to coursework.
Echoes also utilizes these multiplayer opportunities in its math practice system. When allowed by teachers, students challenge each other to racing or cooperative games that allow them to complete assignments while having fun together. These games have students in many classrooms begging teachers to assign more times tables or division equations, thus transforming the classroom. By making education targeted and adaptive, Echoes provides the tools to remove conflict from the classroom, while providing the individualized attention that each student requires.
